TRC is hosting a viewing of Salman Khan's Khan Academy talk on TED. I have read and listened to many opinions on both sides of what Khan is doing. I'm going to keep my opinion to myself for now and hope that a discussion on this gets started.
If you are planing to go to the TRC session I suggest that after you see the TED video you also listen to the Lab Out Loud podcast [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and visit Action-Reaction [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and become more prepared.
By the way TED videos are great if you haven't ever looked at them take a tour.
